A Humorous Look at the Bright Side of Cancer... and There Is One

Letter #8 To My Benefactor

04_28_2013_cancer_funny_hiking_red_sands_beach04_28_2013_cancer_funny_hiking_dangerous_red_sands_beach Dear Benefactor,

Haven’t talked to you for a while.

Recently, my family took a little trip to Maui. Yes, I packed my hiking boots (in between tank tops and shorts). And yes, in this picture to the left, I am putting on wool socks. In 80-degree weather. That’s how dedicated I am. Either dedicated or stupid—not sure which. The hike toward Red Sands Beach was one of the sketchiest hikes I’ve ever been on. I took some great pictures, though. And remembered to take my hiking boots back home.

Then again, if I had remembered to take my hiking boots back home on that one vacation, you and I never would have met. Oh yeah, we still haven’t met because I don’t know who you are.

Sincerely,

Marie

  1. This is a topic that’s close to my heart… Best wishes! Where are your contact details though?

  2. Hi Patricia,

Thanks. Not sure what you mean by contact details. There’s a tab at the top of my website (on the very right) that you can click on if you need to email me.
