Letter #52 To My Benefactor

Camping at Steamboat Rock State Park – August 25, 2020

Dear Benefactor,

In Letter #42 to you, I told you about my deep fear of rattlesnakes. Well, I went to the same place again this year—Steamboat Rock State Park—and I’m sad to say that I did not go hiking. I did a ton of biking, though, even though my shoulder was still really sore and “frozen” as they say. (I told you all about it in Letter #47.)

But, now that I think about it, I did go up that huge cliff. I believe it was two years ago and it was pretty sketchy. I can’t believe I didn’t tell you all about it. Next letter, okay?

I hope you are doing well, whoever you are.

Sincerely,

Marie
