The Red Devil & Saving Grace

My third round of chemotherapy (Adriamycin & Cytoxan) is on Thursday morning. I’m trying to keep my marbles happy and intact. The new anti-nausea drug, Emend, is making that a little easier. The UPS man just delivered another batch of it to me today.

I confirmed with the oncologist yesterday that the mastectomy will not be until early January. I originally thought it was slated to happen in September. Yay. This would be the saving grace part in case you didn’t pick up on that. I guess I’m not ready for surgery after all.

I wouldn’t go so far to start wearing bikinis or anything… but, well, you get the point.
