The Guiro
I was asked to play an instrument I’ve never heard of. In public. In front of 500 people.
I’m scared.

I think you’re going to get discovered at the Tulip Concert, get signed by a major label, and go on to become the first international guiro-based rock’n’roll superstar.

I was even tapping my foot tonight while I was practicing with Doug; he gave me a short one-minute lesson on how to play the silly thing.
Kind of a catchy tune.
Just hope I can pull it off once all those people are out there in the audience. Yikes. Those nerves get me every time.
As for the major label? They’d have to be pretty hard up for new talent.
