That’s Not Something You Hear Every Day #29

I’ve talked about Jesse before. She’s a friend of Adriana’s. They met in Wollongong, Australia when they were both doing mission work there.

I finally got to meet Jesse in person (instead of over Skype) when she came to stay with us. One day, Adriana was backing out of the driveway when I heard incoherent yelling from the passenger side where Jesse sat. The only word that my brain honed in on was “guts.”

“W-what? Guts?” I thought to myself. I should probably stay away from that one. “What did you say?” I asked politely.

“I love your stinkin’ guts.”

Instead of staying away from that one, I think I’ll adopt her.
