Letter #20 To My Benefactor

Dear Benefactor,

Sometimes I go hiking by myself and other times, Ken comes with me.

I wasn’t exaggerating in my last post when I said I plod along. Ken, on the other hand, goes up the trail ahead of me, comes back down to where I am, goes a quarter mile back down the trail, and comes back to me where I am sweating like a pig and trying desperately not to go into cardiac arrest.

By the time we are done:

Marie – 4 miles
Ken – 8 miles
