Letter #10 To My Benefactor

Dear Benefactor,

Well, I’m happy to report that it’s been 18 days since I last wrote you instead of four months. You’ll also be glad to know that I have been branching out instead of doing the same old hike to Fragrance Lake.

Today, I went hiking with most of my family to Larrabee. I don’t think I told you. Michael is living out on his own now, so we don’t see him as much.

I made it all the way to the beach, which sadly, is not as big of a feat as hiking to Fragrance Lake, but I still put on those shoes you bought for me and got out there. Aren’t you proud of me?

I wonder if Ken would have carried me if I had asked him.
