Housecleaning While On Steroids

The funny thing about steroids is… they keep you up all night. Okay, maybe not you, but they sure are making me crazy.

Just tonight, I made dinner rolls, did three loads of laundry, rearranged my whole office (including moving furniture), washed four loads of dishes, whipped up some homemade banana ice cream for the kids, vacuumed, dusted, weeded out a file cabinet, loaded up the fireplace, straightened out the Tupperware cupboard, froze some coconut milk to make more ice cream for the family tomorrow, filled up the votive-holders with new candles, threw out some old business papers, watched a Law & Order episode, pruned a few plants, cleared off the kitchen table, and cleaned the bathroom… and all of this since about nine.

I’m running out of things to do. I’d wash the kids’ sheets, but they’re all sleeping. It is, after all, 3:30 in the morning.
