Breast Reconstruction – Take 40
The past two Sundays in church, I’ve been halfway through singing the first one or two praise songs when I realize that my pants are falling down. While this is great news–that the abdominal swelling caused by the tummy tuck done during breast reconstruction (phew) is finally going down–it is not so good to be in public when this happens.
So…you’re worshiping your pants off?
Better in the pews than when you’re on stage.
Debbie & Abel,
You two crack me up.
Yes, I’m worshipping my pants right off.
Like Abel said, I remember thinking… “Good thing I’m not playing piano right now, because I might have stood up to go sit through the sermon and had pants down around my knees.” Awkward.
I don’t know Marie… I think it’s time do some some shopping for new clothes?!!?!? I’ll go with you when I get to Seattle next week! It’ll be fun!!
Karen,
Heck yeah! Call me when you get into town.
Wait. The pressure… oh, no… now I’m going to be craving all kinds of bad foods.
Then, I’ll have to go back to the thrift store and get my old clothes back.
This would not be a good thing.
