BRCA-1
I finally got the results of my breast cancer gene test. No Mutation Detected.
My ovaries were happy to hear that. (If I had tested positive for this gene, I would have had a much higher risk of ovarian cancer.) Then I “zapped” them with a Lupron shot. Now, they’re no longer speaking to me. Remember, this is the drug that the oncologist told me would take care of what little libido I had left.
All I can say is, it’s going to be a long five years.
Sooo thankful to hear that you don’t have the breast cancer gene! Hooray!

Vern,
Me, too! I always want to say, “Then why do I have breast cancer?”
