A Humorous Look at the Bright Side of Cancer... and There Is One

November 28, 2010

Falling Off The Wagon

I never should have made that list of goodies to choose from for Thanksgiving. Not only did I eat more than one item off that list, I ate those items on more than just Thanksgiving.

I celebrated Thanksgiving Week instead of Thanksgiving Day. It must be about 28 days until Christmas (when I plan on eating my “famous” fudge).

Here we go again: They say it takes 21 days to break a habit. I guess I need 28 days. Times 100.

  1. But don’t you normally make your famous fudge for your Christmas Piano Party?? That’s December 11th… So, what are you going to do? Let’s think about alternatives :) I’m practicing my new roll as your Sugar Sponsor. :) How do you like it??

  2. Cathy,

If I don’t have fudge at that party, I will NEVER hear the end of it from Summer, my piano student that brings it up every lesson from November to December.

I’m starting to think I should just quit being so obsessed with food/diets when people are starving in the world.

As my physical therapist and I talked yesterday, Everything in moderation. Used to be my motto before cancer!
