The Boob Box

On our way to Oregon, my boob box (where I store the prosthesis when I’m not wearing it) rode in the back of the Honda CR-V and only fell out into the parking lot once. Now that we’re back home, I’m having a hard time figuring out where to store it… the sock drawer? the closet? on top of my jewelry box? Decisions, decisions…

  1. too funny…. mine is now resting at peace in my sweater drawer….. big clumsy thing….but I was warned to never ever throw it out….after all where do YOU store your boob?? I mean how many of us have the option to wear or not to wear…decisions alright!

  2. Abel, you must be thinking of the recommendation for homeowners to store their valuables in the freezer…and what could be more valuable than a fake boob? But you may want to visualize wearing a sack of ice cubes near your….ahem….moving on….

I vote for the sock drawer–going for warm and cozy, here.

  3. Abel,

The freezer?! I don’t even have anything “quippy” to say back. I wouldn’t want to confuse the fake boob with a roast when I had company over for dinner. I can see it now… “What IS that?!”

  4. Debbie,

I’ve had a few friends say, “That Debbie that comments on your blog is really funny” and I have to agree.

I might have to get rid of some socks before the boob will fit in there.

For now, it sits on the floor where it irritates me every morning when I wake up. Time to clean out my bedroom, I’d say.

  5. freezer!!! now THAT is a great idea…do ya think it would help cool me down during my hot flashes??
and yes, Maria I DO wear mine…all the time…but I do have the option now don’t I…
and what has life degenerated into? discussing boobs on line no less

  6. Ria,

I’ve resigned myself to the fact that nothing is sacred anymore and I’ve never talked about boobs so much in my life!

    Have a great weekend.

    Any Mt. Bluett yet?
