The Arbor Day Foundation Would Be Proud
Today, I decided to stop talking about my liver in the third-person and pretend I don’t have Stage III breast cancer.
I went out in the bright, sunshiny sunshine and… transplanted a tree.
Not just any old tree. A six-foot Western Red Cedar, one of my favorite evergreens. It only took me an hour. The ground wasn’t totally frozen, just the top inch or so.
I hope I live long enough to see that cedar grow up to be a sixty-foot thing of beauty. For now, though, I’ll just settle for a nap.
You picked quite a day to decide it’s time to get outside! My goodness it was cold today! I take it you haven’t found those marbles yet… :P
