Tonight, my son, Jonathan, played varsity basketball for his school. At the game, I ran into a friend of mine, Marilyn.

“I love the new color of your hair,” she gushed. “It absolutely makes you look ten years younger.”

“Oh, goody, that means I’m turning 36 tomorrow instead of 46.”
