That’s Not Something You Hear Every Day #19
Tonight, I was furiously reworking the manuscript of the novel I completed a mere month before I was diagnosed with cancer. I was really on a roll when I was interrupted by a text from a friend.
“Hi, what are you doing?” Melissa wrote.
“Editing my racy novel,” I replied.
“A racy novel, eh?” she texted back. “That sounds interesting.”
“Let’s put it this way: you know that book everyone is talking about, Fifty Shades of Grey? Well, my novel will be a bit more like One Shade of Grey.”
