Piano Lessons 101
This morning, I looked forward to the arrival of my fairly new piano student. Her name is Alex and she is six.
She and her mother drove up the driveway. I hurriedly wiped the dust from my piano as Alex came tearing up the sidewalk to the front door.
Oh good, that’s a welcome sight… a piano student that is super excited to come to a lesson. I patted myself figuratively on the back. I must be doing something right.
A split second later, I saw the dog, Daisy. Either Alex was really happy to see me or she is petrified of that dog.
Quite humorous, she actually was excited for piano, the dog just made her cruise faster to the front door
Yay! That makes me happy.
It would not be a good thing to see a mother dragging her kid to the front door, especially if the kid was yelling, “Please don’t make me go, Mommy!”
