Yesterday, my piano student’s mother told me she had also heard the gossip about the criminal hiding in our fireplace and the woman having the baby in the bathtub.

I suddenly remembered another story I had heard.

Apparently, a man that lived here before us got mad at his wife and shoved her through the front plate glass window. Am I ever glad my husband is good to me. We need our front window replaced, but I think I’ll have it professionally done.
