My To-Do List Has A To-Do List

Dr. Williamson warned me last week that now that the “frenzy of the mastectomy and high-dose chemotherapy is over,” I should be aware of two possible things that could happen: I will become weepy or I will become angry.

What he didn’t say, was that I would become loony.

My To-Do List is starting to have its own To-Do List:

1. Find a boarding school for the children to attend this summer so I can meet the deadline for the publisher.
2. Children… what are their names again?
3. What’s my name again?
4. Where was I?
5. Oh yes, loony. Or is it looney? Google says “either one, short for lunatic.”
