Lupron

At my Herceptin infusion Thursday morning, the nurse said, “I understand we’re giving you a Lupron shot today.”

I said, “Whoa, Nellie,” even though her name’s not Nellie.

I forgot that I was supposed to be researching Lupron and deciding whether or not I want to do it. First of all, I had the big Femara decision to make already and my brain can only take so much thinking at once.

Second of all, I must have been too busy dreaming about the big party I want to throw myself in January to celebrate being done with the wretched Herceptin treatments.
