I Love Washington State: Reason #1
I remember why I love living here in the Pacific Northwest. It’s still January and the rhubarb is already sprouting out of the ground.

we had 57 yesterday – haven’t checked my rhubarb, but don’t want it too warm yet! frost is stressful in the spring! last year lost a lot of plums because of frost – had lots left from the year before but now would LOVE another huge crop. hard to believe so much of the rest of the country is buried in snow :)
