Herceptin Countdown

I thought I was doing Herceptin (I call it chemotherapy, but the nurses and Dr. Hoffman refer to it as “targeted therapy” whatever that means) until September, but, apparently, my treatments are being extended through December because of the amount of Lapatinib (the chemotherapy horse pill, remember?) I missed due to the all-over body rash.

I have a treatment in one hour from now: one down, five more to go.

This means, another party in January around my birthday to celebrate the end of nausea, fatigue, and skin rashes… I mean, Herceptin. Yee haw.
