A Humorous Look at the Bright Side of Cancer... and There Is One

Happy Thanksgiving For Me

The noble thing for me to celebrate Thanksgiving this year would be for me to show gratitude for my family, friends, church, and country, but, the number one thing I’m thankful for this Thanksgiving is:

No more Lapatinib!

My liver has not recuperated as fast as it should from its toxic state, so I’m off it permanently (off the Lapatinib, not my liver… I still kind of need that sucker). The rash will now finally go away and I can hopefully get my marbles back. That is, assuming, of course, that I had any to start with.

  1. Who needs nobility when you’ve got no more itching? Very glad to hear it. Good luck finding those marbles, and if you see mine, pick them up too.

  2. What? No more aloe massages or coconut oil induced mai tai mirages? Guess you and Ken will have to think of something else fun to do…;-)

Hope you had a good Thanksgiving!
