Driving Naked
Yesterday, I thought I had a lot of freedom… I drove for the first time in six weeks. It was wonderful.
Today, I felt even more freedom, because not only did I drive again (since it was so fun yesterday), I did it naked. Not naked, silly. Just checking to make sure you really read these posts. I drove without any scarves or hats and felt completely vulnerable.
I got over my self-consciousness and forced myself to go to the bank and my daughter’s basketball awards ceremony. The trick was, I held my head high and acted like I really do look like Jamie Lee Curtis.

I am so glad you have some of your freedom back. And just in time for nice spring weather! Hooray for your bravery! You are an inspiration to all the women who come after you! Keeping you in my prayers and thoughts as you make all these transitions.
I LOVE JAMIE LEE CURTIS! I want to have arms like Jamie Lee Curtis! Unfortunately, I have the arms (and stomach) of the Pillbury Doughboy. At least you have her hair…and her attitude.
