Breast Reconstruction – Take 36
Today, I went to join my writing group in Coupeville for the first time in months. What can I say? I’ve got three kids, a husband, a huge yard to maintain, housework (to ignore), breast reconstruction surgery to recover from…
The whole way there–during my one-hour drive–I felt like screaming out the window, “I’m back in the saddle, baby.” I looked forward to seeing my fellow writers.
It was finally my turn to stand up and speak about what I had been working on. I puffed out my chest a bit and proclaimed, “I got a boob job.”
You’d think that I’d start using a filter on my mouth one of these days, but, apparently not.

Actually, the plastic surgeon’s assistant took before pictures of me and I’m sure there will be after photos.
That’s a scary thought… having those suckers land in the wrong hands, eh?

P.S. Book Two is being worked on; not sure of the release date yet.

Isn’t Edmonds near Lynnwood? That’s only 45 minutes or so from me.
I’m probably going to Coupeville on Wednesday… guess you guys don’t ever head that way, do you?
We could meet for dinner there or something: the Front Street Grill is really good.
