Breast Reconstruction – Take 21
Four more days until my breast reconstruction on the 24th. My last-minute scheduling includes:
Monday: last drum lesson for a while
Tuesday: Birch Bay overnight with a friend
Wednesday: Walk along beach at Birch Bay
Thursday: Try not to hyperventilate about surgery
Friday: Be at hospital at the ungodly hour of 5:30 a.m.

I’m glad you’re taking some time to relax and practice calming breaths. A trip to the beach will give you a “happy place” to go to on Friday. We’ll be gone for a month, but will keep you in our prayers as you recover!
My WV is “wicom”, as in “Wicom life has to be so crazy?”
Thank you everyone for the kind words, prayers, and all-around encouragement. I’m trying very hard to keep my hysteria under control… one more day of freedom and then it’s five long days in the hospital.
