That’s Not Something You Hear Every Day #14
Today is my mom’s birthday, herself a breast cancer beater-upper. I know that’s not a word, but I hate the word survivor for some unexplained reason. I bought her a funny card (all about sagging boobs, of course) and had everyone in the family write her a little note.
I glanced over part of what my daughter, Adriana, had written: “I love your butter cake and raisin cake… and thanks to you and Mom for teaching me how to clean.”
Say what? I usually do whatever I can to get out of housework. I don’t know what she’s talking about.
