Like I was saying, I like to wiggle out of housework any chance I get. I’d much rather work out in the yard, write a poem, play piano, or visit with a friend. However, I did manage to go through a cupboard this afternoon and discovered a pair of slippers that I knit during the recuperation from my mastectomy. 

They were halfway to the Goodwill box when Michaela, Adriana’s friend, begged me for them. How can I say no to that smile?

If you would like to come visit me, two things will happen: I will get out of more housework and you just may end up with a pair of slippers yourself.
