A Humorous Look at the Bright Side of Cancer... and There Is One

My Fingernails Hate Me

Lately, I have uncharacteristic hangnails on most of my fingers, nails breaking at the drop of a hat (or paper), and bleeding at a few of my nail beds. Is this:

1. a delayed reaction to Taxol (when most women have these problems)?
2. a response to my continuing Herceptin treatments?
3. my inadequate consumption of B-12 with B-6 & Folic Acid?
4. too much chocolate and not enough vegetables?
5. a desperate cry from my nails to return to the sands of Hawaii?

I wonder what my toenails are thinking…
