“I celebrated Mother’s Day again this year.”

This might seem like a silly thing to say, but just saying those words out loud makes me happy. And thankful that I’m still around to say them.

You see, cancer does that to you: makes you paranoid that you’re going to live to see another day, much less four years.

Child #1 (pictured on the right) took me to the Four Seasons Buffet and shopping at Goodwill and Value Village.

Child #2 (pictured on the left) brought me to the movie Iron Man 3.

Child #3 (did not want his picture taken) drove me to see Iron Man 3.

I’m glad I don’t have any more boys, because I don’t think I could have seen Iron Man 3 another time. Celebrating Mother’s Day next year? Yeah, that, I can do.
