Back to Reality
I was excited to use my $100 from Mother’s Day to buy some new plants: Blazing Star, a purple rhododendron, a pale yellow columbine, barberry, and box honeysuckle. All the plants were put in the ground and watered. I was proud of myself for how the yard was coming together for a mere $100.
I was not so excited or proud, however, to start work on this garden. It’s supposed to be my kitchen garden. It doesn’t know it yet, but its days are numbered. I also don’t know if it’s called quack grass or crab grass… all I know is, I HATE IT.
