To-Do List #5

Instead of getting a mammogram like my last to-do list told me to, this is my typical day this week:
1. Get up at 5:30 a.m.
2. Wake up Jonathan.
3. Eat protein shake for breakfast.
4. Throw Jonathan in the car.
5. Drive to James’ house to pick him up.
6. Drop Jonathan and James off at soccer practice.
7. Drive around aimlessly to kill time or go home.
8. Pick boys up at soccer practice.
9. Drop James off at his house.
10. Bring Jonathan home to take a shower.
11. Throw Jonathan back in the car.
12. Go pick up James again. Hope he took a shower.
13. Drop both boys off at Drivers Ed by 10:00.
14. Take life into hands driving back out of the Drivers Ed parking lot.
15. Go back to pick up boys from Drivers Ed by noon.
16. Get a hunger headache.
17. Drop James off again at his house.
18. Bring Jonathan and myself back home.
19. Watch The Mentalist with Jonathan while we’re eating lunch.
20. Get dishes, laundry, yard work, and bookkeeping done.
21. Go pick up James again.
22. Bring Jonathan and James to basketball practice by 4:00.
23. Pick up Jonathan and James again by 5:30.
24. Drop James off and go home to eat dinner.
25. Drop in bed by ten.

  1. You can get rid of #2 if you get Jonathan his own alarm clock. Or two. Even three -in case you have to set one and put it 10 feet from his bed, kind of as a “transition” from mom actually waking him up. If he can drive a car, he can wake himself up? Just a thought… (don’t tell him I said so)
