That’s Not Something You Hear Every Day #2
Like I said in my last post, Michael went with me to my second Herceptin appointment yesterday. The minute we got in the waiting room, I sneaked down the hallway and weighed myself before the nurse came to get me.
All four doctor’s offices have different scales, so, when we got back to the infusion center, I asked the nurse what my last weight was. She had to go to the other end of the office, but when she came back, I was happy I had sent her running around: I had lost 4 pounds since January 31.
Michael turned to my friend/driver and told her, “That’s because her boob weighed four pounds.”
How’s that for dashing all my pride? Here I thought it was because of my extreme self-control for the past eight days in eating healthier.
But, wait, my mastectomy was performed January 21, before January 31, so I really did lose four pounds.
great pic of you & your son. Love your matching hat & sweater. The blue dots you get for the radiation treatment will strangely remind you that you are special (if you didn’t already know that).
Best wishes!

Thanks, Barbra.
Have a wonderful weekend.
