When the husband and I visited our firstborn in Idaho several weeks ago, she served us Medjool dates and they were delicious. When I came home, I bought some and they were all soft and squishy.

I texted her the above picture for funsies and asked, “Do you keep your dates in the fridge?”

She replied, “Yes, and I think that’s why none of them have called me back.”
