My Philosophy on Health
It amazes me how much doctors disagree about certain issues:
1. Butter vs. margarine
2. Vegetarianism vs. meat
3. Nutrasweet, Equal, Sweet n’ Low vs. sugar
4. Maple syrup, honey, blue agave syrup: good or bad?
5. Soy being a wonder food vs. soy being “poison”
6. First chocolate’s bad for you, then it’s an antioxidant
7. Low fat, good fats, no fats
8. Low carb, complex carbs, pasta before sports
While all the “health experts” are arguing over which of the above is true, I think I’ll stick to my simple philosophy of everything in moderation. I’ll eat as many fruits and vegetables as I can, throw in a few good quality raw nuts in there once in a while, eat as little sugar/junk food as possible and call it good.
do the good docs disagree on the olliebollen also? or do they have a good for you category all on their own? 1 ollieboll and 1 hunk of apple, 1 ollieboll and 1 celery stick…..ahh I like your kind of diet
Ria,
I ate salad for breakfast two days last week. If that isn’t healthy, I don’t know what is.
