My First Endorsement

I got a phone call from my daughter last night. She was at the weekly Wednesday night church dinner.

“Guess what, Mom? You know that Chinese Chicken stuff you make at home? They made it here tonight and they’re calling it ‘Marie de Haan’s Chinese Chicken.’ ”

Boy, one minute you’re in the newspaper, the next you’re having a recipe named after you.

Figures my first “endorsement” would be chicken.

Not quite so glamorous as having a lifetime supply of Haagen-Dazs ice cream (for promoting it in my book) for my family.
