My "Boob"
Now that I’ve covered how the chemotherapy has affected my fingernails, toes, and hair, I must talk about my right boob. It is, after all, what got me into all this mess in the first place by getting diseased and having to be surgically removed from my body.
Yesterday, I could not figure out why my prosthesis kept trying to peek out the top of my bra. Of course, I was out shopping… in public… at a lot of different stores. It wasn’t until this morning while I was getting dressed that I noticed that it had shifted sideways in its little pouch.
Bad boob.
No one noticed, unless they have had the same problem at one time.
Sounds like quite the distraction–although you handle these things with such humor and grace. I’m sure you could think of something to say.
:) You’re awesome- Marie.
I also love the Willow poem (under poetry) and realized I had read it before the instant I saw it. Beautiful.
Nice to meet your vivacious and creative daughter at JW-what a great session!
hilarious!
