A Humorous Look at the Bright Side of Cancer... and There Is One

Multiple Meals

It’s been five whole days since my second “Red Devil” chemotherapy treatment and I still haven’t thrown up. This may not seem like a big deal to you, but it is a huge deal to me. Last time, as I’ve previously mentioned, did not go so well.

Today, I had two separate meals delivered. I am feeling extremely guilty. I should be doing my own cooking. All I did today was tinker in the yard for a few hours which hardly seems like work to me. Oh yeah, I did a few loads of laundry, too. Big, fat, hairy deal.

My family is going to be used to these 7-course meals and not want to go back to my cooking.

Now, you’ll have to excuse me. I have some homemade (not by me) salsa that is calling my name.

  1. Congratulations on the not-throwing-up. I’ve thrown up before, and I didn’t like it. Not one bit. I can see why you’re excited about not doing it.

  2. I’m glad for you that you aren’t sick like you were last time. And sometimes food just tastes so much better when you don’t have to cook it. Just enjoy the meals – lots of people love you and want to help you.

  3. you should not feel guilty just enjoy it hope you guys like the salsa I think its so much betterthan a jar but you do have to like cilantro
