Mother’s Day Gifts #2 & #3

I received breakfast in bed as Gift #2 and a pair of garden shoes as Gift #3. I wish I could eat breakfast in bed every morning and then go out in my new shoes and garden to my heart’s content for the rest of every afternoon.

Instead, I am up until 1:30 in the morning cleaning house. I thought I had a lot of paperwork before (cancer); the problem has quadrupled since the diagnosis. Maybe my Gift #4 will be a maid. One could always hope.
