Life Survivorship-16
As you know, I am always embarrassing myself in some way.
I have a song coming out next week; back in November, I was still debating which intro I want to go with. I loaded the two masters onto the iPhone, sat in between my two speakers—surround sound, duh—and cranked the first one.
The next thing I know, I’m thinking, “Man, this song sure is catchy.” I start singing along at the top of my lungs. If you think I’m kidding, you can ask Ken whose office is right next to mine.
Midway through the bridge—yes, still singing at full throttle—I realized that my next piano student has a habit of coming early. I jumped up, glanced out my window, and sure enough, there she was, walking up the sidewalk with her mother to the front door.
Phew. For once, I didn’t make an idiot of myself. But, I did have a great time, and that’s the important thing, right?
