Letter #5 To My Benefactor

Dear Benefactor,

Well, it took me thirteen days to get up the courage to get out in the woods, but I did it. I promise that this picture really was taken in the woods and not in my back yard by one of my flowerbeds.

I went up to the sign that advertises Fragrance Lake and back down. It only took me an hour. I had to stop about eight times to catch my breath. I’m just glad that I didn’t wake up any bears or cougars.

Wish me luck on my next trek.

Sure you don’t want to come with me, eh?
