Dear Fran Drescher #39
Dear Fran,
Man, I sure was pretty crabby in my last letter to you.
I do have some good things happen in my life, too, you know.
First off, I went to Nashville at the end of September and I recorded a song and a music video. I’m still pinching myself every day.
Now, here it is a month later, and I’m down in Long Beach, WA. My friend and I road-tripped from the Seattle area to Long Beach—a solid four-hour drive—yakking away and singing Keith Urban’s songs at the top of our lungs. She went home after a few nights and then my son and husband came for the last couple days.
While I was in Long Beach, I had a Zoom meeting with a really nice woman back in Nashville. I think I’m going to hire her to help me do some promotion. Her name is Jennie, and I guess she’s done some work for Randy Travis. I hope she’s okay working with little old me.
Yes, the song was super exciting, but the simple joys of life are precious, too, aren’t they: walks along the beach with family.
Best friends always,
Marie
