One of my piano students (whom I’ve missed all summer) said to me at church this morning, “Hey, I heard you’re cancer-free. That’s awesome.” Quite a few people have said that lately and every stinkin’ time, it catches me off guard. Am I cancer-free? Or is “cancer-lurking-in-my-body-and-just-hasn’t-been-detected-yet”?
