Breast Reconstruction – Take 23

It’s been five days since I’ve had my breast reconstruction surgery. The first thing I thought when I opened my eyes to inspect my plastic surgeon’s handiwork was, “Wow, I have cleavage again and it looks so real.” The second thing I thought–immediately following–was “Hokey-doodle, that hurts.”

Pain pills… they’re a wonderful thing.

  1. Hello Marie, Hope everything went ok with you. Bobby went to Prostate Dr. yesterday. He is at 0.1. That is about as good as it gets. Goes to lymphoma Dr. on the 15th of July. Our prayers are with you.Have a great weekend.
    Blessings,
    Claudia

  2. Marie …. shall we say “Uff Da” ??? Hope your soon on the down hill slide of having to cope with pain management. Keep thinking of the “big picture” … and getting one ginormous step closer to that thing called “normal” !
