Friend texts, “Hi, do you have plans on the Fourth?”
Me: (paraphrasing): “Sorry, too much pain and tiredness, blah, blah, blah….”
Friend: “Totally understand…I feel for you.”
Me: (complaining some more): “Like, I can’t even put a freaking ponytail in my hair.”
Me: (texts ugliest picture ever): “Show this to anyone and you’re dead meat.”
