Letter #26 To My Benefactor

Dear Benefactor,

I was looking over one of my old letters to you and I wish that I could report that we got to go hiking once again in Hawaii for our wedding anniversary this year, but alas, because of the major remodel we did on our house—which, incidentally, fulfilled one of the items on my bucket list—we were out of money.

Instead of hiking along the dangerous Waihe’e Ridge Trail in Maui, we ended up hiking out to dinner. Nothing exciting I am afraid, but I will take it anyway. Still alive, still married, still happy. If that isn’t something to rejoice about, I don’t know what is.
